HONORS AND SPECIAL AWARDS:

Ribbon of Hope Award: GlaxoSmithKline Foundation
Allegro Foundation was honored at Duke University on March 28, 2008 as one of the 21 recipients of the inaugural Ribbon of Hope award by GlaxoSmithKline Foundation, in recognition of Allegro Foundation's innovative work for children with disabilties and making a positive impact on the lives of North Carolina's citizens.

Spirit Awards
The Mint Museum and Donald Haack Diamonds recently honored Allegro Foundation…a Champion for Children with Disabilities as a recipient of the 2007 Spirit Awards, one of the Charlotte area's highest honors. The other 2007 recipients are Dr. Monique Abner, Richard and Margaret Dreher, Marie Mitchell, Marc and Mattye Silverman, and the Moore & Van Allen law firm.
